OK, just completed and available immediately is this B.U.S.H. Knife (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow Handle). This is essentially a “mid-tech” type knife, I take a Polar puukko blade and do everything else in-house. I make and fit the brass guard/bolster, machine the aluminum hollow handle and buttcap, and make the sheath.

This is a forged blade and the price is considerably lower than my full custom knives, so fit and finish are not elevated as high, but everything is clean and tight and the construction methods and machining are the same as my full customs.

This has a 3.7” Polar carbon steel blade, OAL is about 8.5”. Buttcap on the knife has a compass. Leather sheath is formed to this knife, finish is kept simple but still robust and made from 8-9 oz. leather. Tiedown loop is integrated to bottom of sheath.

Hollow handle firesteel is all done in-house by me, and is cord wrapped to match the primary knife. It has a 5/16” diameter firesteel, loop on sheath is made for 5/16” firesteel, if you choose to supply your own.

Knife and sheath are $225, add $60 for hollow handle ferro rod. Shipping is $12, U.S. only on this one. First “I’ll take it” gets it. Thank you for your support!

This one is gone. If you're interested in one, let me know. There is a short turnaround on these. Thank you!

Just fantastic.

Thank you!

Very impressive. What method do you attach the blade to the handle?
Thanks for answering. And again great work!

A strong one. Lol, it's in there good. I don't get into it too much, that conversation tends to get worked up. But I have done video tests demonstrating the strength of my knives and believe the end result is more important than the particulars. Thank you!

Dang that’s very cool. How much off the handle is hollow and how much is blade tang?

Thank you! There is just under 3" of usable space in the handle.

I guess if I’m going to shell out that kind of cash I would like to know the particulars of its assembly.

I love the Polar blades but this really takes it to a whole new level!
