B10 confirmation email

Big thank you to Amy!! I got my e-mail confirming my order for 1 of each (choil, no choil). I did request a couple of specific serial number options but then stated that if they were taken or not available then "surprise me with the lowest available number". My e-mail from Amy did not specify my serial number; so perhaps, a surprise it will be!
As a favor to fellow Busse orderers I posted here instead of sending a confirming reply to Amy. She has enough mail to go through as is and I don't want to slow things.
When you call with payment info, you can ask what numbers you got. or you can let it be a true surprise :D

I called, all is cool. I chose not to ask about my number, I like surprises.

Sweet......it's confirmed that I got the matching big brother to the Basic 6. #33 all the way!

Dang it. Good snag my friend

I got 133 and 233

Just got off the phone with Amy! I got #312 (daughters birthday is 3-12-11) with a choil, exactly what I wanted!! :D Thanks Amy! Busse Combat rocks!

who ever got 333, want to trade ?

I got my e-mail for one of each as well....no mention of the #s I requested (to match my B6). I am a happy guy... :)

If you include your email time stamp with the number you got we can graph um to see how quickly the orders came in.:o

except for cases like mine, I was time stamped at 945, but requested 45, I am guessing it is safe to assume as I was quick on the trigger I would have gotten a lower number if I let the chips fall where they did.

That isn't going to work.
For example, say I got my email out with a 9:45:01 timestamp, but it took 5 minutes travel time to arrive on Busse's servers and no one else's had a delay like that... Mine would be waaaaaaaaay back in the stack.

It doesn't matter what your email timestamp is...Busse goes by order of received emails. :)

With a delay like that I would be surprised if it made it at all.

The goal is to estimate orders. It might be possible to work out how delayed your mail was by looking at the difference between your time stamp and received number, comparing them to others who ordered at the same or nearly the same time and the numbers they received. If it doesn't work then there will be no correlation between email time stamps and received numbers and the graph would show that. We simply need to collect enough data.

My notice did not mention if I got the numbers I requested. It was #'s 1 and 2 ;-). Or # 19 and wherever in line I was.

My email time stamp was at 9:45 but did not give me the seconds. Yahoo mail used to give the seconds. Does anybody know how to find out the seconds on Yahoo mail.

I got #103 choil-less. And a call today with some extra work to pay for it. Life is good!

Got the #s I wanted as well.... I CC'ed my personal E-Mail into the loop and it arrived in the In Box right on 2146hrs.
