B13

Any of you guys think you will get a sheath for your BB13? I've been thinking about it. I've seen where Lost Mountain Ironworks is back in business. I wonder if they would do a group buy for a 13" sheath if we had enough people interested. Just a thought for a sheath, either that or kydex, LMIW makes some really nice sheaths for the money.
 
I usually just run basic kydex for coated Basic's... the idea behind this, to me, is light weight for the chopping power. No sense in having a really heavy sheath for me.
 
I'm hoping the Marbles 14" bolo sheath will fit it well enough. I have the 14" scout sheaths for my 1311 and Tramontina and they're perfect for what I need them to do.

I have kydex for several of my smaller blades, but probably won't do that for everything unless I start bending my own.

I plan on having Mr. Brown make a couple B-13 sheath and dangler combos for me.
 
I am curious to know just how many of these were ordered. Regardless of CG or BG, I would like to know just how many were ordered compared to the other O2W blades.
 
I know after receiving some bad news yesterday, I called the shop & spoke to a nice lady named Blue after I decided to add on another CG to make the day better. I figured I better get while the getting was good and wound up at 4 x CG, 3 x BG since I am not overly hopeful for an LE. :)

I spoke with 13lue yesterday too... and now have a BG on the way :D :thumbup:

The wait kinda feels like that. Light on the other side, but it's a long way off...

I spoke with Jerry on the phone yesterday for the first time ever, pretty easy going guy. :cool: I thanked him for bringing the BB13 to life and he said "No problem brother, that is one serious piece of equipment!". :D

I also asked him to tell Lexi I said goodbye and good luck. :) It it is bittersweet that the last knife under her watch was our dream 13ig 13olo as she left us with a BB13 joy :) AND a Heavy Heart feeling. :( Thank you for all you did for us Lexi and good luck! :D :thumbup:

Yeah, it is bitter sweet for sure. Did I hear that pokey and Laura are gone too?!?!?:confused::confused::confused::(:(:(
 
Man... I'm betting this is gonna be a particularly grueling, nail bitting wait for those who ordered this blade....it must feel like the long war is over..but the wait has just begun...
