Come on guys....let's get 2000 posts and 100 pages today. Only 55 posts left...we can do this! 13asic 13 ROCKS!
 
1311 in Infi and I'm happy.

B11 and add two inches and I'm happy.

Combat grade? Works for me, just means I can afford more.

V grind? Okay, that'll work.

Convex? I'll take that too.

Asymmetric? Probably dreaming here, but then I'd be very happy.

Bolo? Would be a huge bonus!


So 13ASICally, as long as it's got a 13" infi blade and a res C handle, I'm stoked and will be buying. If you want to give us some of the other requests, even better!

Yeah I'm thinking a one hand grip with that much blade could be unwieldy. Hand and a half grip would be great. More leverage one handed, better balance if choked up. Could get two hands on it for extra power. More length if bushwacking. Etc...
 
A longer handle was brought up in the last 98 pages somewhere.

I think the overall thought was, it would be nice, but don't let it hold up us getting our B13!

There were many thoughts on what the thickness should be. Many went for 13/64 (13, get it?) = .20", which is basically 1311 thickness. I'm in this camp. With infi, it will be plenty strong, and very fast. 1311 proves this is a great combination.

I'd be happy if it were .25" thick as well, anything to get us our B13.


Bring the MOA13ASIC!
 
Please, Jerry, not a fatty; thinner is better on this design.

With all the blades that have come through with OPW, there has to be room for the knife design that predated all of that. And the 13asic 13 isn't any crazier of any idea than the WTF. And, IMHO, it will be INFInitely more useful.
 
Nice to see everyone 13ringing the 13asic love! :thumbup: Lot's of are things keeping my 13usy offline lately, 13ut I am still in for these!!! :D
