B890 vs. Tactool

Which of these would you recommend? It shouldn't be too hard to guess what I'll need one for. (Offing beached-whales.)

Strider-Buck B890 $180

The Becker's carbon steel blade with the chisel-like tip is probably stronger while the Buck would serve you better as a general purpose knife.

If steel type makes a difference to you, I think the Buck's are made of 420 HC and the Becker's are 1095 IIRC, but I could be wrong about that. That said I like the look of the Becker more, and have nothing but positive things to say about my BK9. A lot of knife for the money.
