I wish I could help you out, but mine were sold!
I'll see if Voracious wants to jump in, I KNOW he has one!

Here is one of Walking Mans long lost children, but she is too well loved to much more than ride proudly on my hip while I play in the woods and cut limes for my tequila :D :D

You make sure you wear her well, but she still ain't my "Red Lady" Customized SH! :D
PS...... I'm glad she went to a good home!

Let me charge the batteries for the camera. Are there that many BA-E owners that don't use em? :grumpy:

It's a great user. If you have one and don't use it you just don't know what you're missing out on.

I never really "got" the BA-e. The handle to blade ratio is wrong for my tastes. That being said, I would love to find an INFI SH Badger languishing in a garage sale somewhere.

Rick - preferring the 3rd generation of the Badgers....

I can understand that sentiment. I didn't really get it either until I had one, but it's almost like Paul's hatchet in a way. Because of the curve of the handle and the shortness of the blade, you can really bear down on the knife and getting cutting done where a bigger knife couldn't give you as much leverage. Think of the it almost like a bigger version of the Pork Belly skinner.
Does it make sense now?

I agree with Rick.
I never really liked the BA-E and if the new badger has the TAC handle I'll pass on those as well.
I do however like those old badgers that no one else wants. :D

Because he doesn't have one! LOL

I only have 3 now, compared to Mulder's gazillion, but I can only tell 1 of the 3 apart because it's a skinny 1/4" and has the slotted bolts.

That one is for July and August carry when the fattys will wear you down.

To me, it is the most perfect (that you can EDC), knife that Jerry ever made. I don't count the SHSH as a EDC, just a scootch too big to conceal.

Dwayne
With recent pics, I see you still have the 2 that I told you were 'keepers', the SHBA fatty and the SHSH that we still haven't figured out what it is.

'Some of my ex's live in Texas, and Texas is the place they really out to be!' LOL

The BAE's and 3rd Gen, I've had more than a few, but none felt and fitted like the SHBA's.

Quoting myself here again to say that the SHBA is a lot closer to the BA3 than the BAE, which is truely a unique knife. Neither of those will let you bear down the way the BAE will because of it's thick blade and curvy handle.
