For Sale - 8 inch Baby Bolo - Hand-Forged Knife - Free Shipping

Description - I was practicing drawing billets out with my forge press one night and this bad boy was born. I have been wanting to make a larger camp knife for a while as I mainly make smaller edc style blades. This blade was made with bushcrafting in mind. I wanted a blade that could do it all. It has just enough forward weight to make it good for chopping, but the edge and bevel geometry make it great for finer work such as slicing, carving, mincing, and dicing. The bevels are slightly convex and the edge is a micro convex edge. It has my signature forged hash marks on the flats. The handle was made to be ergonomic for various grips and uses, and includes a lanyard tube for highly dynamic tasks like chopping or batonning. I couldn't decide on whether it would pair best with a kydex or leather sheath, so I've left that to the customer to decide!

Specs - Steel = 5160, Hardness ~58 HRC, OAL = 12.5in, Blade Length = 8in, Blade Thickness = ~5/32nd, Weight = 9oz, Handle = Natural Canvas Micarta with a tactile finish.
