Ok Hogs. We all know how it is when we dream. Recently in a dream of mine I saw a short sword made of INFI a tad bit longer than a SR Rucki at about .225-.250 thick. It had a handle just long enough to grasp with both hands with a blade exactly like the Buts....fuller and all.
Ok...enough about a dream.....If this blade exists please show me. If not....hmmm hmmm....well...I dont want to just order a short Butaniku and have them cut blade off. I think there has to be more than just I who would love to see a Baby Butaniku join the Busse arsenal? Who's with me?

Well, for one I love the AK, however the blades of the AK vs the Buts are very different. Butaniku has the fuller and I believe it is thicker. From what I remember the AK is .190 or somewhere close to that thickness. I think the Baby But should be around .250 thick, same upward curve as the Butaniku, with sorta a double stacked TGLB handle for both hands to barely fit, and the light brigade treatment on the handle as well. Double handguarded also as the TG line. Yes I know this may resemble an elongated TGLB. ...but in a way that is kinda the direction I am seeking.
 
I guess I'm a loner on this one? Imagine a short Butaniku with less blade and handle? Not necessarily the same size as an AK...more like a SR Rucki but with a thicker and wider blade...and more of a custom stylish handle like the TGs but longer.. about the same handle length as a Waki. I know some other people out there want what I'm describing.
 
I'm in.... For sure, those dimensions sound superb. I need to have thicker than stock infi. .27 would be dreamy but that may work against you weight wise
 
That's a good thought breavis! Have it .27 all the way down.....coupled with the light brigade treatment that would make a great backpacking banshee type of hacker. Dreams for now I guess.

Like you said dreaming is free, while I'm at it maybe I can get an INFI folder in my stocking?
 
Sounds a little like the Hades Hornet, but with a fuller and in Infi.

So maybe not at all, but the Hades Hornet was .25 tk. And otherwise shaped as an AK
 
I think the short Butaniku, AK, and ruck are pretty much perfect as they are. Just choose your length. I actually like the butt end of the AK the best, and the thickness of the AK and ruck won't leave you wanting.
