Bachelor party.
Ok so this is a little story to show that a knife can be really usefull!
Yesterday I had my bachelor party. (Didn't know it was this day) My friends kidnapped me a my job. I really didn't know what happened. They stormed in with 10 guys, put a cotton bag on my head duct taped my hands, arms and legs and put a headphone with this terror music on. (Guantanamo bay style)
Than they put me in the back of a van and strapped me to the walls of the van.
Then they drove off. So the next 5 minutes my heart was racing and my hands were shaking. They know I am a knife freak and I carry at least 2 knives. So they took my ZT 0770 cf and my Victorinox Classic. They didn't knew that I had the Esee Candiru escape and evade knife on me. After 5 minutes when I was calmed down and my haert had a normal pace I grabbed the knife which was located at my back on my belt. It was really difficult cutting the duct tape without cutting myself. In the meanwhile the terror music was playing and I still coudn't see anything. ( it really surprised me that when you can't move, can't see and have music on in a driving car you are completely disillusioned) When I cut all the tape on my arms hands and feet it was time to figure out how I could open the door from the inside. Also here the Candiru came in handy. After half an hour driving they finally stopped at a gas station. I opened the door and they were flabbergasted how I managed to get my self free.
I said never underestimate a prepared guy ;-)
We had a great day with a hike true the woods, making fire (with the Candiru) and grilled a chicken, kanoeing for 10 miles and closed the day (04:00 am) in the city with ofcourse a couple of drinks.
Conclusion, a knife is your best friend in a lot of situations and can be a great tool!
Here are some pictures to compliment the story.
