Back by Popular Demand... What folder do you guys carry?

These are my "EDC" items usually. A 4.1 with a Paramilitary 1 and the Rush 24.

The only Folders I own now thanks to the 4.1's ability to do almost everything. I sold off all of my ZT's and Spyderco's except the OG Paramilitary.

These 3 are sentimental because they were my Grandpa's. He gave me that Camillus when I was 5 years old and I inherited the crusty old Colonial Barlow and the Case XX when he passed away last October.

So sorry to hear about your grandpa. My last grandparent left this world a little over a year ago. What cool heirlooms, though.

I have the poor man's Rush 24, the Condor Compact Assault Pack. I really like the size and attachment options. Good taste, my man.

Here's my favored folder. Does the RAT 1 need much introduction? Inexpensive, simple, kind of ugly and functional. Side by side with my 3.5 to keep things S! related :D

It barely shows up in the picture but i love my custom mini ritter grip. I got green canvas scales to match my main carry Survive! knives!!!

Ni1s. How do do you like that Fallkinven Gents folder? It has always caught my eye. I also have been looking at the benchmade hunt series.

I like it alot! Surprisingly much actually. I've had several different Fallkniven knives (since I'm Swedish :) ), but this is the one I like the most and is definately a keeper. The design, F&F and most importantly ergonomics is perfect I think. Very smooth! Ergonomics is much better than my small sebbie with my large hands. But sure, there are things I'd change... for example it's very difficult to open one handed, but there are mods for that, and I'm not sold on the cocobolo scales or the lanyard ring. But it still get top-3 pocket time for me.

I also really like the U2 & U4 folders for office use.

Who did the scales? That color looks great with the stonewashed blade.

I am primarilly into fixed blades, but have a small little selection of folders/slipjoints.. Some get rotated into my EDC but for the past 8-9 years now I have carried/used a Benchmade Mini Griptillian with a combo edge.. I looove this knife and it suits me very well.. I also carry an orange alox SAK Farmer.. :)

Just got some sprint run scales off another BF member and got them on today. I'll be edcing this this week with my necker II, and my tl-29 GEC. I think she looks awesome in her new attire.

Thanks bud, he was a great guy!
The Condor pack is great! I almost got one but I got this 5.11 for only $74 brand new. One of these days I'll have to pick up a Rat folder because I really haven't heard anything bad about them

I'll probably get blasted for this, but here it goes. After carrying for 10 years then loosing a first production run Emerson Karambit #286, I thought it was time for a change. I wanted a knife that I wouldn't think twice about using in any "abuse" situation. If the blade chips, breaks, rusts, completely falls apart or whatever, no worries. Straight from China a K John, 3" XM-18 wanna-be. It does not have any reference to Hinderer or his logos, completely sterile of Hinderer. Going on a year of daily carry and it's the best $100 I spent on a knife. And if it does break, okay, no biggie.......

At my "day job" and currently sporting a recent-production modified Buck 301 Stockman (geometry was too thick, so I ground down every blade to suit my needs):

I'd probably get the same ones! That canvas has to have a nice grip to them.

Very nice grip, at first I thought it was too smooth (being used to the original handles) but i love how they slide out of the pocket without destroying everything.

My EDC folders are a Buck 110 or Taylor-Schrade Uncle Henry LB7, a Buck 301 or 371 Stockman (depending on my mood) a Rough Rider 858 Small trapper, and a Marbles Camp/Utility knife or SAK recruit.
I might swap out the stockman for a Buck 389 canoe or a Rough Rider large sunfish.
