here is a little hunter that came back home from Blade. 4 1/2 inch 300+ layer 1084/15N20 random pattern blade with random pattern guard and buttcap and fossil walrus ivory handle. It comes with the Treestump sheath shown in the picture. $360 insured and shipped to the US only, including PayPal fee. Thanks to Jon Brand for the photo taken on my table at Blade. BYTW, the reason that you can't see my stamp is because it is etched onto the spine of the blade tight up by the guard.:D

Thanks, Jon. The shipped price to the US is $360 via UPS Ground and that inlcudes insurance and packing by someone better at it than me.:D This knife is for sale in the US only because of the handle material.

"This knife is for sale in the US only because of the handle material"
Canada Customs does not seem to have restrictions on fossil ivory as i have been able to 'import' such knives.

Rodrigo Sfreddo had a very bad experience with US customs in Atlanta at Blade. He had a beautiful Turkish twist yataghan with a handle made from fossil walrus ivory that had been bought at Blade in 2009. Customs wanted to confiscate the knife, but settled for him prying the scales from the tang. Ditto for the perfectly legal farm raised alligator skin covering on a sheath, said skin also having been purchased at Blade. Customs are getting funny about such things and I prefer not to take a chance.

Trying to bring elephant ivory etc INTO the USA is the problem.

If it has been here since before '72, it is okay to play with the stuff as you like. Try taking an otherwise "legal" elephant ivory object in the UK and turning into something else. Can you say fines starting at 10,000 pounds? A couple of years ago, Geo. Trumper, the traditional London barber and shaving gear supplier got whacked hard for doing something as simple as charging some old ivory handled shaving gear slightly and putting it up for sale in the store.

Is it mean that this knife can not go out of USA to other country? Please explain, I'm an idiot sometimes:).

Pretty much. Some of the customs agencies have gotten kinda weird even about fossil stuff.
Still available.
