So here is what came home for my personal collection. I don't have any of the gift knives with me right now.

This is the same pic but of the XM's lock side. I love this finish. Its blasted and then anodized so it has a flat blue look. Its sweet!

And here is a shot of the handle on the Fletcher. I love the green liners. Gonna see about getting a sheath made to match.

Someone asked how Dylan Fletcher was doing. Great I would say. I know he sold a few knives and partied hard so I'm sure he was happy when everything was said and done.
 
Capbyrd, those are some nice knives that you scored! Can't hardly wait for my Fletcher to get here. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
 
Those look like some great blade you got there!

I think Ka-Bar should do a Blemish special here on the forums. I would love to get a factory seconds BK14 at that price, and since I stripped mine and use mine all the time, I don't care about a few cosmetic problems or slight bendage (I think that's a word...)

mistwalker bought the last two 11's.

There were some other screaming deals. Ka-Bar Phatbob in D2 steel for $30. Ka-Bar Mule folders with sheath for $35. USMC knife with Kraton handles and sheath for $40. Show prices on the Tweeners/Shorts rocked the house too.

damn I missed the phatbob somehow...i would have bought that in a heartbeat...wanted the usmc, but was looking for a plain edge.....
 
Couldn't handle it anymore. This thread kept making me want a 17 as well. So I just ordered a 17 for myself (for only 13.99!). So I should be getting in a 7 and a 17 for myself this week.

If I actually start posting useful content, I may end up a Beckerhead like you sick bunch!
 
Yeah, I would like to know that as well.

Since, that's less than the material cost for the knife.

Haha. So I bought a set of headlights for my truck from a non local dealership. The first set they shipped me were broken. So those went back and they sent a replacement. The replacement was a misship that should have gone to someone in Ohio. By the time they got those back, they were out of the lights I ordered so I have been waiting since 5/15 for my headlights. They should be here tomorrow and be correct. The dealership refunded me some of my purchase price and I used that money, along with 13.99 extra, to order a BK17.


So I didn't exactly only pay 13.99 for the knife, but I can pretend that I paid full price for the lights and got the knife for cheap. Or I can get the lights cheap and pay full price for the knife. I prefer to think of the knife as 13.99.
 
man, smoking deals at Blade.

i think i got a cramp from handling all the money. probably 100 neckers split between the 14s and 11s. the 14s sold out first, then the 11s. then i found a secret cache of 5 14s and probably 10 11s. the 14s dissolved super fast.

a few people haggled. that was good. they got deals. buy 3? they were willing to listen. want to buy all of them at half price? no, not really :)

good times. good times.
