Back from Josh's hammer-in

Buddy, I'm pretty sure Chuck offered it to Keith for $4500 so Keith would have a nice piece of ivory for the fighter I'm going to make for him :D

(I'm actually being serious) :)

As far as Rodebaugh goes... I have liked him and his work since I first met him at the Eugene show in Oregon when I was 20... 10 years ago.

I know with all the forged blade lovers around here, his finely forged work with great attention to detail would be VERY WELCOME... However, we have to teach Jim how to read and stuff before we can expect him to get on the forums :p ;) :D

Seriously though, Jim is a good friend and a very talented maker. I can never understand why we don't see and hear more about him. He does indeed deserve it.

Nice write up Keith,
It was a pleasure to finally meet you and thanks to all for the compliments on my knives. This is turning into the one of the premier events of the year for makers and collectors alike in my opinion. I cant wait till next year.

It had a card attached to it with a price of $4500.00. If he had a piece the right size with that kind of colour, I might have bought it, but I didn't have $4500.00.

James is one heck of a nice guy, with all kinds of great hunting stories. It appears that he just took a bit of a break from knifemaking, but he plans on getting back into it in a big way. That's good, because I think he makes great knives.

Shane Taylor showed me a drawing of a dagger that he is going to make. I sure hope we get to see this knife when it is done. It is going to be spectacular.

It was really great getting to me you too, and getting to handle your knives. You've got bucket loads of talent.
