My wife was the one that talked to the girls and asked them to pose with me, but then her damn sister deleted it from the camera:mad:

Yeah she sure was. She has family in New York on her Father's side, but her Mother's side is still all over there. It's tuff on her during the hollidays, so it was good to her so happy there.

Glad to have you back bro. Those pics look awesome!. The crusty fish looks like some kind of blowfish I hope whoever cleaned it was careful not to pierce the liver.
 
WOW bro! great pictures. That looks like a seriously cool place to go. Lemme know next time you guys head down there. Just slip a few crackers in the suitcase every now and then and maybe a redbull.

I'm very sorry to hear the people are not doing as well as they once were. I thought their standard of living would be much improved by now. They were so kind to a somewhat lost gringo.:thumbup:

Thats a big thing I noticed. I was their 5 years ago, and it was much, much more American friendly. The nicer areas were still fine and happy to see an American visiting their country, but the other areas, ummm, lets just say; nit so much...

Nice pics man, glad you had a great trip. I've got family from Venezuela (maternal grandmother), paternal uncles. I last went to Margarita Island back around 83 when I was a young teen and it was a beautiful place, lots of friendly people and the women are definitely some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Unfortunately I got the measles on my trip and ended up spending the last few days at my uncle's place while everyone else went out and had all the fun!

can't wait to drink some Cacique 500, my favourite rum ever lol!
