Back from pain pump trial. I passed even if it was a rough one!

I'm glad to hear you passed the trial, but what a grim process! I'm hoping that you're through the worst of it. Regardless, I'm voting for the tough old NDN. Smoke continues from the new snows of the Pacific Northwest.

OK. I'll go back to prayer and beating YB.

Let me know when to stop. He's losing his sense of self sacrifice for a worthy cause. :)

Be well and safe.

enjoy every sandwich

Kis, you quit beatin that poor dog! Young Bert tnqrd has enough problems of his own without adding any of mine to him as well.;)
Young Bert may be tnqrd but he is still a handsome fellow and you can't BS me, Bert is in too good of shape to be mistreated.

Glad to hear you passed Yvsa. Sorry about all the pain to do it though. Hope you don't have to wait too long to get the pump permanently installed.

Prayers out :)

Alan

I should have been clearer in my post yesterday....:o Instead of saying, "I can hardly wait for next Thursday." I should've said that I get my pain pump installed next Thursday April 3rd and I can hardly wait.;)
I went for my pre-op yesterday and so far everything looks good. I have to be at the hospital next Thursday, the 3rd of April, at 1:30 p.m. and am supposed to go into surgery at or about 3:30 p.m.
The nurse that did my pre-op said that if everything goes alright I should be ready to go home around 6:00 p.m. or so. It's gonna be a long, long, day without any food or anything to drink after 8:00 a.m. that morning and then I can only have clear liquids.
My Barbie has already got it figured out though; she said she would fix me a high carbo, high protein, meal around 11:00 p.m. the day before so I could fill up before midnight, not many ladies like my Barbie out there anymore!  :D

And many thanks again too everyone for all the Smoke, Support, and Prayers, they are very much appreciated!!!!

....

Geezz you are good Yvsa, because of you, another friend of mine back in Ohio is getting the pump, you would believe the handfulls of xr morphine and oxycodone he's been on..

Anyway, I'll be sending smoke and prayers that you get out pain free. Keep us posted.

Hey ... we are ALL pulling for you, Yvsa.

So sorry to hear the process has been so painful, but you're almost there now. Less than a week to go.

My clan and I will be praying nightly and thinking of you daily. That's full coverage ... sort of. :D

Sending some supplemental smoke. I really hope the scheduling went OK and that the surgery wasn't as bad as the trial!!!
