Ethan - glad you had a productive, lucrative, and insightful time. I wasn't aware of those laws in England - ridiculous.

On a lighter note - I'm looking forward to seeing some new releases. The teasing was not fair. :)

First 30 years of my life were spent there and for the last 10 in CA ( getting citizenship soon)

Can't even have a blade that locks any more in England and even if your a scout or camping you'd better keep your fixed blade pretty concealable. Totally out of control!

Sooo glad I live where I do now!

I'm going to have to check out a shot show some time! Hand sanitizer too by the sounds of it...

Yeah, I always have to load up on med's and antihistamines when in Vegas. I can only assume shaking hundreds of hands will get you sick that much faster. Thanks for the welcome.
 
Glad to hear the SHOT show was a success for you. Keep up the great work. I agree with you about the 2nd Amendment applying to knives as well. "Arms" are many things, not just firearms. The blade is in fact one of, if not THE, first of all arms (the rock or club was probably first, lol).
 
I was stationed in Europe in '08 and watched a lot of Sky News and BBC. There was a sickening number of stories about "knife crime" in the UK, doing the same things that the American media are doing to blame the gun, knife, or other object rather than the hand wielding it. So, in the UK, they outlawed certain knives. Kids who wanted to carry knives started stealing their mums' kitchen cutlery for their activities. Eventually, we're back to rocks and pointy sticks.
 
Thanks for the tease Ethan. We all need to write our reps NOW!! Write everyone and let them know how you feel. Dont' wait till a bill is introduced. The NRA-ILA has a tool to help you.
 
Ya......They really want a completely unarmed peasantry and there is nothing a crooked politician loves more than a helpless peasant......

Ethan, politics aside, try a eucalyptus oil steam for your lungs. It will open them up and clear
them of all the nastiness of traveling.
