So after a hiatus I acquired a 940-1, a Megumi @ closeout price, and 485 Valet M390 Shinola special. I do love me some Benchmade, they have some of the nicest Gent's knives in the business.

I've been all about Benchmade this summer. Benchmade got me into knives, actually. That reminds me, I need to get me a Fact!

Damn, those Megumi's are gorgeous. Now that is a true gentleman's knife. I wish I was keeping tabs on them, haha.

I recently had the chance to try out the Bugout, while I do still prefer my mini Ritter, it's a great design if a lightweight carry is the goal. Plus it was one helluva slicer. I'm just a sucker for liners, and there's not too many knives that can compete with my beloved orange mini Ritter. Benchmade gets a lot of slack, but from my albeit limited experience, they've been stellar.

Gentleman's knives are great for EDC. BENCHMADE does good even in blue class.781 Anthem is all over this genre! I got one that wasn't anodized, that is a powerful touch of class that's missing

Couldn't agree more on the Megumi. I couldn't believe my luck :) The wood Valet looks very nice in the picture too, I just need to see it's size in person. I have an idea, and honestly with the steel and the Dynawood I can't see myself not liking it. I wear slacks or shorts most of the time, so the rough G10 I used to carry all the time in jeans does not cut it, or rather cuts it too much :). BM does a great job with smoother G10, and contoured scales. Same with their CF. I've got KAI, BM and Spyderco gent like knives as my current arsenal. BM rules the roost of all of them when it comes to the standard/easily affordable Deep carry clips. I had to go 3rd party for the Spyder and KAI ones, and they get prices fast, especially on the less carried models like the Firefly.
