Hi guys. after about a 3 year surge of woodworking business, I finally have
finished up most of it, and will be continuing my knife making once again. I've missed the BladeForum a lot, and it looks like there's a lot of threads that will be a lot of help to me. I sure like Kevin's sticky's!
I hope everyone is still kicking along, and hope we haven't lost anyone during the past 36 months (I did hear of Ron Nott's passing last week).
I see a lot of names that I haven't heard of, so getting to know new personalities will be a lot of fun.
Thanks for listening, and will be back in the groove chatting with you very soon.

I have noticed you were gone and did wonder what happened. Welcome back. Glad you were productive and healthy Robert. You still making the rockers?

You did some fine knife work before. I expect it will be just as good again. Welcome back. Frank

It is good to see one of the oldies back. Nice to meet you.

Nathan

Thanks a lot guys, what a great welcome back. I've missed my knifemaking a lot, but have missed this forum even more. The information and advice that's freely given out by this group is just simply unreal. It's great to be back amoungst you all.
Bruce, you bet, still making the rockers. Next to bladework it's all I know how to do so it's part of the whole equation. Are you still making those beautiful knife/pistols? I'd give anything to have one of those critters, maybe I'll try to make one someday. You once gave me the name of a book that had some drawings in it.
Ok, better run now. Here's looking forward to several more years of being with you guys!
Robert

Thanks guys. Hey George!! I think of you everyday that I trip over that huge chunk of chain from the antique whaler. I need to make something from that one of these days! I also still haven't done anything with the primary drive chain from the 193? Harley Davidson, but I'm fixing to! Do you have any more of those IG?? Great to hear from you.

I have HD primary and secondary chains on hand ( I smell a trade) But, they are from the 60's to 80's.:thumbup: You know as well as I do, that you will never cut that link. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!! How many years have you had it?????:jerkit::D

IG, the chain has to season, you know that as well as I do. When it gets just right, then I'll look at it some more and think about what to do with it.....maybe
Trade eh? I still haven't recovered from our last trade! :o)
Ya George, I'm a-betting we can do something, sure.
