Back into the medical system again, er still.

Thanks everyone! :)

I'm down to a week, a day, a night, and a few hours until I get the injections!
As y'all may have noticed, or not, I haven't been around much lately, just self preservation on my part my friends. The last couple of days have been really, really, tough on me as the pain goes. If these injections don't ease the pain a bit I haven't a clue as to what I'm gonna do.
And this is coming from a guy who had gone nine days without his heavy duty oral meds recently back up to 30 mgs total a day... and more on the really horrible days!!!!

Thanks for the update my friend- and sorry for the effort it took to make it. :(
Thoughts and prayers continue- redoubled- from Kat and me. :)

Serious Smoke coming from your never seen neighbor outta Sand Springs. Let me go see if that brush pile is ready to be fired :)

Get better Yvasa

Many thanks again my friends! :)

I had really high hopes the injections I got last Tuesday morning were going to work as I had pretty good days both Wednesday and Thursday... However when Friday came around I knew they weren't the success the Drs' and I had hoped they would be. :(
Then Saturday and today confirmed my feelings big time as both days have been as I never had the injections at all. :(

I go in this Tuesday for a pain pump refill and I'll let my pain management Dr. know the outcome then we'll go from there as what to do next. Barbie and I both pretty well know that the failure of the injections means there's gonna be another surgery, just don't know which procedure I'll opt for as yet.
I do know the extensive one taking two surgeons about eight hours and about eight units of blood sounds really scary, but even if there's only a 50-50 chance I'd make it through it's damned sure be well worth it if it fixed my back permanently!!! :)

On another note though, methinks that with a friend's help I've got my PC running good once again. It was worth the $230.00 for an increase of 1.5 Gigs of RAM and a new Dell 20" Widescreen Monitor. My friend Larry just happened to have an old graphics card laying around that he put in my PC in order to get the right resolution on the new monitor --- now everything and everyone doesn't look twice as wide as they really are, Thank Goodness! ;) :p

You know you're in our prayers. I'll just keep sending them up until things get better.

And I'm glad you found the right solution to that graphics card problem. I know I haven't been able to come up with any better solution ... free is THE best solution of all!:)
