Back Lock Question

I'm new to Spyderco's folders. I recently purchased the Manix and Mini-Manix. I've noticed the back spring on the Mini is less strong than that on the Manix. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

No worries.
The working of a backlock does not rely on springpressure but on the geometry of the lock.
