back pocket carry.

In such way I carry rather big and flat knives, they are usually usually clipped. In case of traditional knives - Douk-Douk in homemade leather slip-in sheath that keeps vertically in the pocket. Very comfortable, but the knife has to be flat. I am currently waiting for Mercator, so I will test this method with another traditional in the next few weeks.

I have a little leather sheath (okay, maybe not too little) that I sometimes slip in my backpocket next to the wallet. I've tried carrying larger knives, as well, without the sheath, but unless the pants are nice and tight, it doesn't work for me. Things just keep sliding around. Not much is worse than getting the hard jab of the end of a handle right there, when you slide into a chair.

Of course, my wife likes me to put on my Levi's on occasion, so it's still an option on those days.;)

The 2 main carry's in that position are my Le Thiers 11cm Stag in the sheath, and the Cabela's A. G. Buck 110 naked.
