I was just wondering how many of the guys carry their knives in their back pockets? One guys I work with said he has always carried his buck 110 that way for years and years.

I carry my larger knives clipped to my right back pocket...i got tired of having them in my front pocket cause thats where i keep my phone and trying to go in and out of the front pocket with a military there was kinda irritating :D

Ive been carrying my se Dragonfly clipped in my lr pocket for a couple years.

I use it when my big plain edge edc wont cut whatever it is Im trying to cut,

Ive tried to carry bigger knives in my lr pocket but the dfly is so small I

hardly I dont even notice its there.

If I carry my Buck 110 or Queen Large Texas Toothpick. They ride in my back pocket right next to my wallet. Very convenient way to carry a longer knife.

I like to keep a general use/utility knife in my front pocket and a dedicated self defense knife in my back pocket. I dont find it uncomfortable at all. The one downside I see is that it scratches the hell out of the pocket clip since its constantly being sat on and scratched agaisnt things.

I typically carry a slipjoint in my right front pocket and a one-hander with a pocket clip in my back pocket. If I am in a crowded area, I sometimes move the one-hander to the front pocket for added security from pick-pockets.

My Ram has leather seats, I'm not taking a chance.

I carry my Military IWB sometimes, but mostly my regular EDC's go RFP

Since high school I've been carrying in my right back pocket. It allows me to carry a really large pocket knife with no problems. I have never lost a knife out of my back pocket, where as in the right front pocket it seems the people have issues with their seat belts taking them off. Also It leaves my right front pocket open for my pistol. The only real problem is that a lot of companies put pocket clips on upside down :(

Been carrying a CS Spartan in my back right pocket, no problems. If im going to be driving long i take it out. Ruger LCP has taken over my front pocket

I carry all my blades 3" plus in my back right pocket.

They take up to much space in my front pockets.
I find it rather comfortable especially when im working.

I carry any big non flip folder next to my wallet, usually a buck 110, fits great there. Some times carry a smallish (rc3) fixed bladed in my back left if i'm working, no one minds the knife but they do mind seeing the knife in its sheath on my belt, people are odd, so it rides in the pocket. :D

Also carry keys in my back pocket if i'm walking around, since I have a decent number of them, just try not to sit like that  also carry flashlight in back left, works great!

You guys EDCing large folders in the back pocket, are you taking them out when you sit down or drive your cars?

@ 5.56 I don't unless its a hard bench like in a boat, but a 110 doesn't really have sharp corners, might be different with some thing else, especially with a clip.

I carry my work knife ( Buck Bantam) in my right rear pocket everyday. I thought I won't be too upset if I lose an inexpensive knife. It's never made it's way out on it's own yet,and I'm in all kinds of positions at work , kneeling, crouching, etc. I don't mind carrying clipless knives that way.Otherwise the clip jobs ride right front.

my newly acquired fallkniven wm1 is resting in my back left pocket as i type.

i daresay it'll be spending a lot of time there, although i'll take it out while driving.
