I have a Back Pocket in medium brown jigged bone, my own jigging. The open length is 7 3/4" with a closed length of 4 3/8". It has S-30-V steel, Hardened & Tempered with Cold treatment to a final Rockwell hardness of 59 to 60. It has Stainless Steel Bolsters and a Two-pinned shield. The Opening Pull Hardness is slightly firm, about 6 on the scale. The knife comes with a letter of Authenticity and has a soft leather, fleece lined pouch to keep it in. Flush in all three positions, serial number is on inside back spring, which is hand sanded to a 6000 grit mirror finish, blade is satin with the flat areas finished to 1000 grit. I also incorporate a Tony Bose type Bronze Bushing in the pivot area, which I put into every knife that I can get one to fit in. ASKING $375.00( SOLD) ---Thanks for looking. Joe Allen-Princeton, Indiana. Pay Pal or Money order accepted.

PHIl. Yes it was completed about Late Nov. this year- serial number is 135, I didn't make many knives last year , this year I'm hoping for a lot more. Thanks you for asking Joe.

These pictures were taken on a rainy day ,the back spring is lots nicer an clean then these pictures make it out to be, If you arne't satisfied send it back for full refund , thanks Joe.

Knnut, Joe makes a Really Fine knife, but his picture taking is only so-so. This means that when you open up the package from Joe, you get a Big Rush because the knife 'in-person' is way nicer than you think it will be from his so-so pictures.
If you like the pictures, you'll Love the knife !

Thanks Roland, Yes I've been saying for 2 years I'm going to make me an indoor tent to take pictures, maybe this will be the year. You know Roland if you keep saying these good things about my knives . You might get a great discount an that wow factor you've been looking for, for quite some time now. I've got some new patterns an I can't wait to tear into them an make some new stuff. Adios My friend. Joe

Joe, you are a kind man and that is a generous offer, but i don't want a discount. You put a great deal of effort, concentration and skill into every knife you make and you deserve more that what you charge. Don't forget yourself. You need to make a living too.
I post comments on BF to share my experience with the idea that it might help another member in some way. I post honestly, not to stroke someone's ego or with any thoughts of secondary gain.
Even though i would not take you up on the offer of a discount, i do appreciate the kindness behind it. Thank you Joe. I know you are a man who is always doing things for others from your great caring heart.
your buddy, roland

Hi Joe. I was recently part of a passaround here at BF for a "Backpocket" knife by Kerry Hampton, and it has really turned me on to this style. You've done an outstanding job with this one. The thin bone handles are excellently colored and shaped, and the jigging is wonderfully complex. The blade steel grind lines are fantastic as well. Really a beautiful knife.

Can I ask if you sell these exclusively here or do you take orders?
