• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Back to absolute basics in sharpening

Think I know what you're referring to. Haven't tracked down that thread with the links yet (still looking), but was able to glean website info from the copy of the article I saved. The article is in two parts, both pretty large files (~ 15 MBytes in total), and the site itself ( http://bosq.home.xs4all.nl/ ) is in another language, perhaps Dutch(?). I used Google Translate to view the site, but the article itself is written in English. Here are links to the two parts:

http://bosq.home.xs4all.nl/info 20m/grinding_and_honing_part_2.pdf

Edit: Found the thread where I originally saw the linked article, posted by member 'J D Wijbenga' in posts #10 and #14 in this thread:

These are the articles, thank you much! I had it in favorites, but it may have been deleted.
Language is Belgian, I didn't mention it in the other post because I didn't feel it was necessary.

Yes, in Dutch (Belgiam is not a language, In Belgium they speak Dutch, French and a little German. :-) ). The files are available in both languages. I found them very informative.

Thank you for posting the article in the other thread, JD. It really is a gold mine of sharpening knowledge there.

Thanks for the correction, I would have never known that otherwise.
