Yes sir, that is the Mosquito Hammocks Jungle hammock. There was no way I wanted set up in the tree line with a billion mosquitos another night, so I set it up in bivy mode. Note the tarp isn't really tight, but it was only up to keep the dew off me. If there was a chance of rain I would have staked the paddle supports better and got the tarp tight.

You actually came up in conversation during the trip. We decided that since you're too damn lazy to come back up here and hang with your New England brothers, that we will just rode trip down there. No dates yet, but you should start checking on locations that we could due something similar down there.

Nice photos, Tony. Looks like a good time with a good group. However, I don't know what looks more obscene, the blow up doll, or Simon's shorts. Magnum P.I. collection?

He's 19 I think, could be 18 I'm not sure. He's got to be the oldest 19year old I know..

Wow, that looks like an amazing time Tony. The only time I get pulled pork is when I'm by myself ;) Seriously, what a great trip. Canoe expeditions like that are just about the best thing. Wish I didn't give away my old coleman now. I'm saving up for a kevlar one next year. That pack was hilarious. Jar of weed, roll of condoms and anti-psychotics (A man with tiger blood is always winning!).
 
I'm really fortunate to have such great friends. This camping trip was far too much fun to even begin describing. Thanks to Tony for all the steak, Simon for providing the bathroom humor, Nicole and Leanna for the strawberry rhubarb coffee cake, Tom and Dom for the breakfast bacon and goodies and Big John for the booze. Next year, we're thinking boundary waters. Who is game?
 
I grew up doing canoe trips like that...what a blast you guys had. Hey, leave Simon alone...he's our WSS offspring:D Tony, let Simon know that I never consider wearing fishing lures on my nipples...interesting survival tactic:eek:

Thanks for sharing Tony...I could only imagine that if Brian would have joined you that poor lady Keven rescued would be in for a hard ride!:D
