Sorry to hear this Rick. I had similar occurances about 15 years ago that happened every time I flew. It came down to the pressure change on take-off and landing was messing with my inner ear and my equilibrium. After a couple of days it would pass but it was very scary when it was happening. After a couple of years it just went away but I still wonder everytime I get on an airplane......
Anyway, you are getting good advice, stay out of the shop. Human nature is to throw our arms out to steady ourselves when we get dizzy. A shop with runnign machines, hot forges and sharp steel is not the place to be throwing body parts around.
