If you use DVD Shrink you will not need to use DVD Decrypter. DVD Shrink will ask you if you want to decrypt the DVD for region use and take care of the decryption from there.

I've found a whole lot of DVDs these days that DVDShrink can't back up. You'll definitely want a better decryption program to back it up, like DVD Decrypter. There are also some newer encryption schemes that DVD Decrypter can't get through. The one combination that so far can backup everything is: AnyDVD with DVDShrink.

Easy to use: AnyDVD runs in the background, you don't invoke it seprately. Just run DVD Shrink the way you normally do ... AnyDVD magically lets DVD Shrink correctly access anything.

on linux, just type
"yum install dvdrip"

It's a lovely frontend to transcode.
