Backpacking tent under $200?

If your just going to be camping in mild weather, i.e. showers not storms, snow fall not blizzards, dont use a tent. Ive been backpacking this year and the people i go with dont use tents because it takes up alot of space.
in the winter or cold weather:
Make a fire next to your tent
make a hole where your going to sleep
spread the coals in the hole
put 2-3 inches of dirt andd sleep on top

now this isnt for everyone however it make backpacking a little simpler and lighter

I have an older REI Half Dome and it is heavy but a great tent - very easy to setup. I believe the newer Half Dome 2 is lighter than the one I have. I think the Gunnison is a great tent as well.

yes the Half Dome and Half Dome Plusis great for the money and very light weight

comes with a very good rainfly too

Seriously?
Ignore the little warning on the side of the tent that says, "keep away from flame". I've seen nylon tent material ignite before. Being inside a tent when it happens is not a pretty image.
