I have one of those "Bugout" bags that are made to be duty bags for cops that I use for work. Mine is wearing out, and I will probably go back to my old Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon soon to keep from buying something new. One of the Pygmy Falcon's shoulder straps has started coming unstitched from the body, but it's been sitting here a couple years, and maybe it'll last awhile. Also have a rare old Dana Designs Party Dog, a panel loader with no frills or pockets(that I got for $10 at a surplus store) that serves as an overnight bag and hauls whatever junk I'm taking somewhere that doesn't call for more pack.
For hauling rock climbing/rappeling gear, I use a Mystery Ranch Dragonslayer that's also been used for a daypack and 1-3 day pack.
For backpacking, an Osprey Exos 46, and am keeping a Mountainsmith Lookout 45 that I used for a little while as a loaner.
For dayhiking, a Mountainsmith Day lumbar pack with strapettes that will soon be replaced with an Osprey Manta 25, more than likely.

The straps on this one eventually tangled inside, and stopped working right. Simplest of packs, but I liked having it, and will get a similar "sack pack" sometime. I had 3, and gave the other two away...LL Bean sack pack:
