I'm in the market for a new backpack and have narrowed it down to either a Duluth Sparky Bag or the Filson Rucksack.I know there are a million choices out there for the nylon or cordura bags but I like the old school type backpack out of canvas or waxed cotton.Has anybody had any experience with either of these backpacks?I'm looking for some opinions.It will be used for mostly hunting and some fishing trips.

i dont have either, but i know that alot of people speak very highly of duluths.

I'd say both are top notch in their category. Unless there are fit specifics to either brand you'll be happy with either one. I think the sparky's straps might be a bit more comfortable plus the extra pockets seem more useful.
