Does it hurt anything to have a small gap between the backspring and the brass liner one one side of a pocketknife?

Hi Winchester!

It depends on how big the gap is. A pic could be helpful. I have some gaps on some of my knives at the same place. But that doesnt do anything against the function of the knife. But when the gap is too big, it could cause blade-wobble. But that is just, when it´s a realy big one, IMO.

As said, a pic could help :)

Kind regards
Andi
