hi all.
Alright....i hate to do it, but here goes....

so, as anyone can see from my join date, i am relatively new to the forum. this forum has allowed me to rekindle my interest in knives. my goal was to get some knives...quickly...so i can try to discover what i like. with that said, i have done this....and now i am selling a couple.

Up for sale....
1) Backwoods Compact Hunter .... $135 TYD ---> price drop $130
This is Bill's description from his original post ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-HUNTER-IN-Box-Elder?highlight=compact+hunter )....
BACKWOODSCUSTOMKNIVES
SPECS:
STYLE: HUNTER
STEEL: ALDO'S 1095 / TOP BEVEL
FINNISH: FINE SCOTCH BRITE BELT
SCALES: BEAUTIFUL STABILIZED BOX ELDER BURL
HARDWARE: SILVER PINS
MEASURMENTS: 7 3/4" OVERALL / 3 3/8" BLADE
SHEATH: TOOLED LEATHER

This is a great knife. I can appreciate the fit and finish; however, the blade shape was not my favorite....didn't feel quite right in my hand.

And that leads me to #2....

2) DIY blade .... $65 TYD ---> price drop $60
I also purchased this from Bill ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...S-quot-DYI-quot-Blades-1095?highlight=wetland )
THe blade shape seems to be almost exactly the same as the compact hunter i purchased. So, i am not going to bother completing the DIY blade.

Both prices are what i paid. Haven't used either. Condition is just as i received from Bill.

Pics can be seen in original purchase threads. But, here are some poor quality ones that i took....

Thanks for looking.

P.S. I would consider some trades. KFU, JK, Fiddleback, Core. I now know enough to know i am particular. But, don't be shy to send me an offer. We'll work out the details. i.e. if you send me a Fiddleback offer, chances are...i would owe you. for the right offer....i'd be ok with that.
