Backwoods / Core Knife Co. Collaboration

That is going to be a phenomenal knife! Thanks for the WIP pics.

Bill, that sounds familliar.....lmao!
Where you moving to Michael? Hopefully somewhere down south in gods country!

Yeah , i catch that wind alot glad i have broad shoulders, He is moving to New york blah!!!!

My son kept asking me questions when I was out in the shop. He asked me my I put a small pin up high and one at the back of all my knives. The only answer I had was that I liked the randomness of it. So he said why don't you just make one and put random small pins everywhere. Bingo!

I love the way it turned out. You may like it or you may hate it, but I worked my butt off on the fit and finish of this knife. Bill has always been cool and supported me and I didn't want to let him down. It's contoured beautifully and melts in the hand. I sanded it through 1200 and then started back over with 180 and sanded through 1200 a second time. It feels nice.

Bill, thanks for trusting me to do a knife with you. I've been a fan of your work since I first joined BF's. You've been making knives for over 10 years and I've been making knives for 10 months. There was some pressure there.

I almost didn't take pictures of the whole knife because it's going to look much more crisp once it gets back to Bill and he does his sweet satin belt finish back on it. Anyway, here is what I came up with. I hope you like it.

LOL...that's what I was thinking....

I love Michael's work. Just bought my first Core knife a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it.

I guess we could call this one "The Dalmation Cutter"...yeah...I'm betting that would go over well...and then donate it to PETA.. ;)
