All I can say Bill is you have an eye for picking out the scales, I get lucky once in awhile but every piece of wood you use is simply incredibile.
 
Nice work Bill. Love the box elder on the PEDC. I don't knoe how the patina looks in person, but in the pics it almost
looks like Damascus. Your forced patina's are one of a kind.

IMWILSON, It is kind of comical I know but I have wanted a Damascus bladed knife for a while now! I really like Bill's work and I had procrastinated in the past and lost out on another Damascus bladed knife he made. I had been waiting for another that I really liked. It just happens as you say, my first knife from Backwoods Custom hasn't even made it to my house. Some times you just need to go ahead and do it!!

Unreal!! The first knife I bought from Bill was Damascus. Go to his and Chris' forum and search for "Game Getter".
Something even more unreal.....I think my 2nd was a PEDC, lol.

Ah, I got all of you guys beat. I bought 1,2 and a third knife before my first knife arrived. I had just posted my first reply on this forum. It was "I"ll take it" Huh, I didn't know I'd do that two more times. I'm still looking for one more.
