Backwoods / Fiddleback Collab - "THE SNUB-NOSE" MY PROTOTYPE IS FINNISHED

Lookin good bro. Love the wood. I've got stabalized Black Ash burl set aside for four of the ten. I was thinking of doing something like Osage, and / or Ironwood on a few. I want these to have micarta bolsters, but I'm getting a strong anti micarta feeling in this thread. I also have a lot of burlaps I could use.

Here are some pics of a few I made earlier this year. The first pic has two of my Snubnoses. The top one had stabalized white Oak crotch, and the bottom had natural burlap micarta from Shadetree.

Here is some Ironwood like what I've got.

Here you can see the micarta bolster, and wood combination. These handles are curly Ash.

Just a taste of what I may have in mind for the ten knives.

As an old school millwork/cabinet maker/woodworker guy, Andy I have to tell ya', that shot of the Ironwood with the distinct grain is one of the best finishes I have seen on your knives.
Excellent job, by chance do you have a pic of them showing a side or top view to get the full effect ?
Kudos to both you & BA for making this project happen, fantastic colab.
Be safe.

Thanks!!!

. . . . as my man Gnarly would say, " Daym fine lookin' knife " . . . . :)
Andy, if you have either one of these knives lying around your shop, have Dylan bring it with him when he comes up for Christmas this year and I'll make sure he brings you back some Skyline for it . . . . ;)
Mist was right, your work is excellent. . .
Be safe.
