Bacon vs. Knives

I saw this last night right before I went to bed. First thing I did this morning was cook a package of bacon. Bacon always wins:D

Man, I am let down! I slightly misread the title and thought this was going to be another thread like the "knives and watches" or "beer and blades". I thought I was going to be seeing cool knives and hot bacon....uhhhh

The stuff usually tastes pretty good. But it is right up there with twinkies as something I don't eat often.

There is a butcher in the area of Vonore TN that has developed quite a following for their bacon. Made a special stop there a number of times believing that their high priced bacon was special. Tried it multiple times..... can't stand their stuff. It almost makes me sick.
 
Comparing knives and bacon is like comparing knives and bacon. Uh, I mean knives and bacon. Shoot. Apples and oranges. Hard to switch gears when thinking about 2 of my favorite things.
 
If people think you're a bit "off" for having a knife collection, imagine the guy who has a bacon collection.

Bacon collection... humorous. One thing I have always wondered is what is this attraction on the forums with bacon? Yeah. It tastes good. But so does a lot of things.

You can eat bacon, but you can't eat knives.

I love knives, but I don't sleep with my head on a knife scented pillow.

Yes I actually have a bacon scented pillows case that I got this Xmas and use it every night.

If I had to enter a survival situation with either a knife or bag of bacon jerky, the bacon wins.
 
Clearly, the solution here is to get a Case knife and have it cerakoted with a bacon pattern.
 
It's not bacon, but there's a German knife reviewer on Youtube who frequently cuts dried sausages, cheeses, and other foods on video. Watching his reviews always make me hungry. That's probably why I love knives. They cut food.

And bacon, of course.
