4. George Tichbourne Moose hunter.
I have used one of these for years for moose hunting. It is a great knife design from a gentleman maker who passed recently.
This one was an experiment and I believe the only one ever to have a Scandi edge. George made them solely with a convex edge. There are some very faint scratches on one side on the flats near the tip from the scandi edge grinding process. The flats have a mirror polish.
I have not carried or used it in the field but did try it on some chops to test the edge. Sharp!
o/l 9.25", 5" edge 440C, Cocobolo slabs
Comes with Georges uber thick leather sheath. I had a local sheath maker add a removable dangler and a horizontal belt loop. I have this set up on my user and it works very well in the field.
