Sorry to hear about your wreck, wish you a speedy recovery, chest injuries will cure your cough, give it time to heal and do the exercises the Doc recommends.
 
An update? Are you home and doing better? Prayers and well wishes continuing.
 
I hope your recovery goes well. Sucks, but hey, at least you are around to think it sucks!

I just heard back from Dan (Silenthunterstudio). He is home now, pretty much immobilized and hurting, but evidently in good humor in spite of much difficulty trying to post or email on his cell because of the reception.

Prayers and positive thoughts still going your way Dan. This too shall pass and you will be back on your feet before you know it.
 
Tried to post ph acting haywire. I need to buy a laptop can't get to the desktop puter. Feel absolutely miserable but a lot better. Thank you everyone. Now I am lamenting I didn't go after any of the nurses. Whoo! Of course nothing sexier than a bruised fat guy in a hospital robre. They liked my jokes though ;)
 
You didn't ask for a sponge bath with a happy ending, did you? Glad you worked out the phone posting deal.
 
Thanks for the update! Healing takes time, just a little each day, then a day set back and better returns in the future.

I will give you the same great advice I received from a friend long ago after a big wreck - "don't give up, stick with it".

Lost a whole post. Damn ph is a pia. Feeling like crap but a lot better. Starting to notice pain I didn't notice before. Go to the reg doc tues. Trauma doc on the 15th? Paim meds help but I'll be glad when I am off them. I should've flirted more w those nurses. Of course a fat guy with bruises in a hospital gown is downright sexy right? Heck they liked my jokes. Thanks for the prayers I need them. Need to not squander this 2nd chance.
 
well, back on a real computer. Contemplated chucking "smart" phone off deck, but thought better of it. I've been on FB and email long enough, perusing BF and JD, and need to get up and contribute to family life (whole bucket of fresh peppers from garden to be sliced and diced). Thank you for the prayers and well wishes, they have really been a big help in this time of need. Saw my reg doc Tuesday, will see trauma docs and my reg doc again next week. Looking for a truck again. Glad to be alive when I get cabin fever and a whoah is me attitude.
