BAD: CLEVELAND KYDEX
I was looking for a knife sheath for a knife I bought here and went to Cleveland Kydex and found they had a sale going on, sweet, so I placed my order. During the order I saw they only accepted PayPal but, oh well.
A week or so later I went to their chat support about something AND, long story short, I found out I'd placed an order on 'Cleveland Carrier Kydex.com' which appears to be an almost duplicate, bogus, website to Cleveland Kydex.
The sites are so alike that the bogus site has the same address, phone number and email address as the real site.
So, I paid a scam site but sent my knife to the real place for a sheath (tracking shows they got it on Jan 4th). Right now, since they have a backlog posted on their site, they won't take phone calls. I've been back and forth with 2 different people in email and can't get them to understand or to call me. My email thread has over 20 back and forth emails, I took screen shot captures from the bogus site showing them the bogus site uses their real contact info, and they just don't get it. I just want to pay them to get my knife back, had this been handled properly I may have paid to get a sheath made.
I'm going to contact the BBB and their Chamber of Commerce (if they have one) but I have scant hope of getting my knife back.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN ON THE WEB and if you deal with Cleveland Kydex just know their email support, while polite, is useless.
