Just need to vent.
I have an old (brass bolster) CS Tanto that I have owned for over 15 years. I sent it in to CS for a resharpen and "polish". I just got the blade back. It only cost $10, but...
1. It had finger prints ALL over it.
2. While the edge is even it is NOT very sharp
3. Worst of all they left uneven cloudy "buff marks" on the blade with whatever they used to sharpen the blade and polish the bolster.
4. They just polished top and sides of the bolster, leaving the bottom tarnished and the top of the bolster in front of the blade tarnished too.
Is there some kind of steel polish I can use to remove buff marks?
I'm not saying that Cold Steel always give poor service, but I sure got a half-a$$ed job.
