Bad cut removing D-Guard

well i went camping this last weekend and my wife says "i need a sharp knife to cut this onion" i handed her my ad then about 3 seconds later she says "dang thats sharp i need a bandaid" so while i was doctoring her finger her friends hubby cuts the onion with a leatherman

Short update: Spoke with the surgeon, he will operate this Friday, the finger will be in a short cast for SIX WEEKS after.

No shooting (not even left-handed, can't cock my Glock... hey...)
No fighting (I do Muay Thai)
No chopping.

Gonna have to learn to do some things with my left hand that I REALLY only wanna do with my right hand...
