Bad day...

Today extremely sucked. I had to put *my* first dog down (I've had other dogs but she was the first dog that I chose and received as my dog). I'm trying to remember her as she was a few years ago - when she wasn't in pain - but for the time, it just doesn't lessen my loss...

Here's a pic of her from a few years ago - she was 14 years old in September:

Very sorry to hear about Sam bro, that is so hard. You certainly have my condolences...
 
My deepest sympathies . Even when justified as the most humane thing to do - it is never easy to let an old friend go. Honor him by remembering his best - always.
 
I am real sorry to here about your Dal.


When I opened the post, I almost fell over, Sam could be the sister of my Dalmatian Lizzy.

She live to be 13, and I know what you mean about remembering when she was younger. Sweetest dog I've ever had.

Sorry to hear about this. Tough! We all go back there - that's what dog lovers do - wE lOVE dOGS
 
My condolences - never an easy decision or thing to do.

Remember the good times and the joy you had with Sam.
 
I feel your pain no words can ease it, and, I am sorry.
She's still there for you, and all the things she taught you. All the love she has for you.
I like to sit some times and remember and realize how rich they have made me.
