Boy Brian, looks like you've been a grinding fool :D Puttin' that KMG through the paces I see. There will be some happy knife users when those are finished. ;)
Scott

Brian the rate your going, you will join the ranks of the full-time makers real soon. Don't burn your self out. Have fun and enjoy your knifemaking. Mike

Keep on grindin' my man..........

If you get behind, send a couple on down to Alabama for me to finish..........I'll even make sheaths for 'em.

I have been so lazy I haven't even started a blade since before Christmas. I am off for two weeks, but have gotten lazy as the devil. I did manage to make a stencil making box like Bob Warner's, but slightly modified.

Hang in there my friend.............. :D :D

Robert

You guys are too much. I am loving the new shop space. Just being able to walk over to the bandsaw and cut is a pleasure. Before I had to back out 2 lawn moowers to work so just being able to walk in and work is awsome!
I am doing much better grinds than 6 months ago. Not too shabby ;)

Am I seeing new models in there? That blade shape translates so well to various sizes. Glad to see a few slabs of cocobolo left. Wish you good fortune in the new digs. Hey, where'd the telecaster amp go? :)

Hey Brian, Way to go bud. Looks like your havin fun. So you mention you feel your grinds are better now than six months ago....What do you think helped you to get better the most ? Confidence ? Any special technique ? Either way they sure are looking good.

Shane

You keepin 'that shop clean Brian?

Grab a broom and come on up and spend the w/e helpin this poor old man clean and set up my KMG :) Damn that thing is heavy.

Not sure what it is. I guess like they say...practice. THey may not actually be better grinds but mor that I am learning how to correct my mistakes and get closer to what I am after.

Mark - here is a shot taken last night. Notice my new stackable tool box. The only gift my dad EVER gave me I actually use. So I guess I keep a slightly clean shop. HEll my wife even swept up one afternoon just hanging out in the shop.

Burnsey - Oh yeah...trailmaster it is. That thing will be awsome. I'll set one aside for you because I know how you are ;)
THe amp is sitting purdy right beside me now. My old friend she is....

Here are 3 of the bunch. Ready for my mark and sheaths then the USPS to new owners. Happy ones I hope. The light handled wood is something that was lying around the shop at work. I think its rosewood but not sure. Its not as hard as the cocobolo but hard enough. It has a nice brilliance about it.

Thanks for looking.

Nice to see you've come so far so fast. I like the design of those knives, will you be making any in stainless? That is after you are caught up.

TIR -
I'll have to look into stainless. I feel very comfortable with the high carbon steel but will need to do some homework before staring the stainless. Email me what you have in mind.
Here is a little better shot. The one in the sheath and the smaller SideKick were already complted before the latest 3.

That would be pretty cool Scott. I'd not pass that up!

Great work! I think it's time to replace your picture up there by your name with one of the newer models!

Best,

PJG

Thanks PJG. I'll have to update that this year maybe :D

Edited to Read: Love them while I have them. Shiped far left one (in group of 5 shot) off this morning. Sheath fit perfect! 3 others will go out next week.

Here is a handle profile shot

The bottom pic is my favorite camp design. Mean cutter!
Top is a knife headed to Iroc and the center knife is the "civilian" modle for Dan.
Camp knife is 3/16" and the others are 5/32" 0-1
