(NOT to be confused with the Lotar knife company, different outfit) Purchased a Lothar Porcupine neck knife on Dec 15, 2025. Realized knife is not for me, kept it in original plastic blade wrap, have all materials, knife new and unused. Contacted them per their webpage instructions on their website to facilitate a proper return within their 30 day window as required.

I have sent three emails as of today, no reply. Sent to both 'services@lotharknife.com' and 'sales@lotharknife.com' Knife was purchased Dec 16. They say to use a return address but the field is blank. There is no phone to contact. They send me a survey to ask how I liked the knife so I assume they are still up and running. I also replied to that email address, no reply from them.

Never quite had a problem like this. Any suggestions?

I am sorry for your frustration. Hopefully you will hear from them, but looking at their site- I doubt it. Personally, I would never order anything from a company that does not have an address (or country) listed on their site.

I'd try hand addressing an email to services@lotharknife.com because the link on their webpage really goes to leon.messer@outlook.com instead. Definitely seems weird.
Yes, I saw that, and I did that as well. If they are on vacation, you'd think they'd put up a 'on vacation' notice or something. With so many knife companies out there now, I grow tired of shoddy sellers. Always like to try new, interesting designers but not when they waste my time. I just put in for a dispute with my CC on this. Crazy.

Agree, it was my oversight. Sometimes one gets caught up in the marketing or the pricing, and my common sense goes out the window. Lesson learned.

You still have the product in hand.

Yes, and I wish to return it in new, unused condition as stipulated on their 'return' page which I posted above. Sometimes a knife just doesn't work out for you. At the very least, there should be a modicum of communication back to the customer. I've been in sales for over 42 years, I get back to everyone within 24 hours, usually six.

I see their site now. They are ripping off other designs. You won’t hear back from them and they are selling stolen designs.

Their prescribed address to send return requests just failed.

You could report them to their registrar but I doubt they'd care.:
