Someone mentioned a cheap damascus butterfly knife being auctioned at gunbroker.com at the bali forum, so i decided to check it out. It was pretty cheap, so i thought, even if it's a piece of crap, what do i have to lose? well, as it turns out, i got scammed.

I won this auction a while (well over a month) ago, sent payment promptly, and have heard nothing since. Paypal's mediation service, says that he has no money in his account, so i can't get reimbursed.

i should have known better - he had no feedback at the time i bid. he has 4 negatives now.

So watch out.

Hi Prin,

Seems like he got in, made a couple of bucks and skipped town. Kind of funny that he chose a cheap item to do this. He must not be very bright. You would think if he was going to pull a scam that he would shoot for an item worth a little more $. It looks like a Bear and the dealer cost on one of those is about $40.00 + or -. He was definitely out to scam from the beginning.

Good luck,

Mer

Prin,

I suggest contacting you local FBI office, oe Atorney General's office. $40.00 sounds like a stupid kid, that would come clean & refund ASAP.
