Lost my "White FRN Endura 4" today while surveying in the woods. Spent a good bit of time on that edge and a good bit of time drooling while saving up for it. This sux!!

I've seen this model at reduced prices just in case you want to give it another try.

Get angry.

When I lose something I blame it and get mad. It helps dealing with the loss of the relationship between me and it. Oh, I've said too much.

Yeah, that's gotta stink something fierce. Best way to find something (I've found) is to wait till it's dark, then go out there with a flashlight. The light catches on metal (blade or clip) and helps find it easier then just looking for a white object in (I'm assuming it's fall colors down there) brown/tan leaves and grass.

This must be catching. Took a load of branches out to some property of mine after trimming up the crabapple trees on Sunday. While I was out there, I touched up my Stretch 2 on a diamond stone and then unloaded the branches. Cannot for the life of me remember seeing it after that - have turned the truck upside down along with the house. Just got in from a sales trip - its 9:30 pm - so will have to go out tomorrow to take a look see. First one I have lost in 20 years. Of course, I had to pick a good one to lose!!

::checking pocket for my White Endura right now:: Phew! Sad to hear that. Even with the bright white scales you couldn't find it?

the knife gods are shining their light on me. went out to my property this afternoon and found my stretch 2 clipped to an old piece of chicken wire that I fell on when I hopped out of my truck after unloading branches!!

Congratulations! Excellent result. Jealous of your knife and your good luck.

I know how you feel. I used to have two Jesters. I gave one to the GF and I had one. Now there both gone.

"I FOUND IT!!" :) I went back on that job site today and there it was, about pocket level clipped to the remainder of a tree I had cut. The survey line we had cleared was 2,900 Ft. long starting on the South end going North. I found it about 50 Ft. from the North end. Great way to end my day! :) M

Sounds kinda cliché, but I love happy endings like this! :) Great to hear you found it.

Congrats on finding it. Always nice to hear that it turned out right in the end.

I bet now you will take care and enjoy that knife a little bit more, I know every time I loose something and find I appreciate it just a little more.

Thanks Ya'll. I am so glad I found it. After this experiance I don't think I'll carry it with me to work anymore. I never know where I'll be day to day. Could be at a refinery, construction site, on the water, tromping through the woods, etc... It's mainly "in the woods" that worries me. Too many vines, sticker bushes, fallen trees, etc. I'm thinking at work I'll carry my lower priced, but great workers. A Buck 110 in sheath @ cross draw and Case Sodbuster Jr. CV in front pocket. (+ LeatherMan Wave). I like my Spydie, just don't wanna lose it again! Thnx again, M

Great to hear it's home again! Out in the woods, I had branches pull an Air Force Survival out of a snapped-closed sheath. Of course, with that much force, I felt it go, turned and saved it.

Or put a lanyard (or length of paracord) on it and attach it to you.
That way it stays with you!
It does work!
