Never liked but a few Social D (Social D was the whiny rich kid band of early California punk rock) songs but I gotta respect their contribution to Punk and Rock in general.
Aww, the good old days of punk and hardcore! I still listen to the old jams now and then; Black Flag, Flipper, SOD, MOD, Exploited, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, etc, etc, etc.....
Oh, and Godflesh, lotsa Godflesh! (though it's not "true" punk it's so CRUSHING). :thumbup:
At least Henry Rollins is to healthy and straight edge to die anytime soon.
It is only a matter of time until you see ktel punk hits of the 80's compilations.
Our generation is going to be just like the baby boomers but instead of muscle cars it will be old school skateboards and all the cool stuff we could not afford as kids. I saw a Zorlac Metallica deck sell for $800.00 US the other day.
