Bad news re: Gib

Very sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you Gib. Stay strong.................Sad news indeed
 
Dan, The time before that I called Gib I asked him if he was having alot of pain. He said no but didn't mention if he was drugged up at the time. Most the pain comes from just being there. When I talked to him this morning he says having to lay down all the time is making him very uncomfortable and that he has to constantly change position. He's hoping that when he does get home he'll be able to halfway take care of himself and be able to move around more but there's still alot of unknowns. He will have to stay on oxygen...

I tried calling Gib a few minutes ago. I talked to Larry who is looking after Gib. Larry and his X are both taking turns looking after Gib and I thanked them both. Gibs son was able to come spend sometime with his Dad. Gib is now real close to letting go.....
 
Sorry to hear that Gib is leaving us.

Glad he held on long enough for his Son to be there with him. Hopefully we'll all get to have a big hammer-in together one day.

We only got to speak with each other a few times.

Enjoyed getting to call each other Cuz.

this news saddens me greatly.. Gib, though you may never see this my thoughts and prayers are with you.. :( I believe in the lord and you will be taken care of..peace to you.

I bet Gib is! Yep, we are sure going to miss him.
 
I never knew him but it's clear by everyones remarks he was a good person and that's good enough for me.

no more pain for him ....
I hope you guys don't mine this...

he still lives through his knives and work for us here on earth, part of his sole is in them to live on, not many people get that chance.
he won't be forgotten
here and more so where his sole is right now....
Gib you now have better times to look forward to, through death you've now been guarantied a better place...our lord has made us this promise through his farther a long time ago, until then, rest in peace brother of man kind.....
