I ordered two knucks from Robbie Lathem also know as Smokeeater908 on forums and YouTube on Decemeber 1st 2014 and still have not received them. When I ordered the wait time was 4-6 weeks. It has been ten months. I have emailed him numerous times over the past ten months and he always gives me an excuse and says they will be sent out "next week". I warned him about two months ago that I would have to start a bad feedback thread if the issue didn't get resolved. It wasn't a threat as I was merely trying to give the guy a chance since I havent heard anything bad about him. He hasn't replied to my emails in the past week and a half so I figured it was time to get some help on this. If anyone knows him please reach out to him. Thanks
 
I think its past the PayPal timeline to recoup funds but I could be wrong. Bummer..

Smokeeater give this man a refund...
 
That stinks man. Was it a deal that originated here on bfc? The user account here using the same name hasn't had any activity since February 2015. Hope it works out.
 
sucks man I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully you just saved some future people by posting this. Hope you get your money back bud
 
Just looked smokeeater908 up and it appears he hasn't been on the forums since February of this year.....doubt he's gonna pay much attention to any threads or posts here......sorry to hear this story.
 
I paid using PayPal and I believe it is to late to open a case against him. The deal was not done on Bladeforums. I ordered them from him as he makes custom knucks and a few other things. I started this here because I know he is a member and I wanted to give everyone the heads up. I am also hoping that someone here knows him and can help me get this resolved.

Give the guy his product already, or give him his money back.

Someone will tell him about this thread, but if he doesn't respond soon try posting on his YouTube, and IG account.

Also might be illegal to buy knuckles with Paypal, they are illegal almost everywhere, unless they are , ahem...paperweights... Get on the ball and file a claim.
 
I will see what I can do. I don't think that I can file a claim with PayPal because it has been over 180 days. I don't see the option at least. Does anyone know if I still can?

I just hope he makes this right.
 
I just posted on his Instagram and noticed another guy who has not received an item that he paid for over a year ago.
 
What a douche. I guess he's too busy with his fancy hobbies. Someone should pay him a visit.
 
I use to watch his vids on the tube, noticed he is doing some other stuff these days. Seems to be the trend, but hey bud, things have a funny way of coming around.

If you can't file a claim over the Internet maybe give PP a call and see what they can do. Might not be pleasant cause I'm sure you'll talk to somebody overseas but it's worth a shot. That's an un3xceptable waiting period as he said 4-6 weeks. I would have started claim before was unable to for sure. Good luck.

Hell Yeah getting assaulted and going to jail is always a rational solution to these problems; :rolleyes:

Did you tell him about this thread ?
I'm pretty sure someone has by now, or would think so anyway.
Hopefully he will come and let you know what's going on.
I would post on his YT channel as well.

I posted a link on his last Instagram post. I will try his YouTube. Yea I'm pretty sure he should know by now. Hopefully he chimes in soon and gets it straightened out. Thanks for the posts everyone.
