Hey folks, I'm using a coffe shop internet to check in.

My area got nailed Friday by a storm with 106 MPH winds, almost 3 counties out of power since since Friday,

Bad damage all over 3 counties, and power may not be back until later this week.

Some quick praise for Baygen Freeplay radios!!!! I've kept informed since the start of this mess without wasting a single battery!

Will be back when I can with pictures and I am also keeping notes of some things from my emergency plans that have worked well and some that didn't.

It's been a wild weekend!!!

Don't worry brother, you are from the midwest:D. You and the folks around will pull together and have things back together in no time flat!

yikes.. what a bummer BCCL.... glad you're doing well... keep us posted man.. pics would be cool too...

Sorry to hear that Mother Nature hit you so hard. I hope there weren't any injuries.

Prayers and best of luck.

My sis lives in Pine Hills ... big trees snapped like twigs according to her. She's out power and landlines but her trusty outhouse (we call it the brick-sheethouse) is still standing!

Glad to hear you're OK. I was thinking about you last night after talking with my Mom, she lives about 70 miles north of you and though they didn't get hit bad she was telling me about what happened in your neck of the woods.

Sorry to hear 'Ol Bud... Glad you are ok ! We got here in Ky Fri.night Flodding everywhere !!! My place didn't get hit but everywhere all around me did !!!!
National Guard is droping off water & they have set up shelters for the people that lost their homes. It's now a muddy mess around here :(

That sounds terrible. Please keep us in touch as things come back together!

Glad you are OK.
Stay safe.
Look forward to your reports.
Let us know if there is any way that we can help out.

good to hear that you are OK! At least it means alot of free firewood my friend!

Thanks for all the thoughts, we just got electric back about an hour ago.

Jackson and Williamson counties kinda look like war zones still.

I think we've been lucky to some degree, fatalities are only 5 or 6 at this point.

I've got to organized my pictures and get them online, but here's a quick shot from my front porch of our tree that was uprooted. Some small branches were laying on my trunk, but no damage.

I'll post more shots later, right now we are going to clean up and go eat! :D
